You Can Get Great Cups of Joe Below P100 at This New Small Coffee Shop in Taguig

(SPOT.ph) It's safe to say coffee is, for a lot of us, pretty much an integral part of our daily lives—there's the caffeine content that helps us power through tough days, as well as its telltale robust taste that can be savored plain or complemented by other ingredients (cream, syrups, and the like) to make up spinoff coffee drinks. Unless you're brewing your own, though, the daily coffee habit can get expensive, with most great-quality and specialty coffee shops peddling their cups of joe at three-digit price points around a hundred bucks and up. Enter PICKUP COFFEE, which began as a delivery-only brand with locations around the Metro—and sold specialty coffee at much more affordable prices (with nothing over P100!). They recently opened their first physical outpost at Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig—and they'll be holding their official launch soon, with special deals for lucky coffee fans.

Take a look at the first physical store of PICKUP COFFEE:

PICKUP COFFEE's Uptown Bonifacio store is a small stall that resembles a food truck of sorts, located outside the mall. Open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, it'll catch your eye with its minimalist yet bright look and zen pastel-green hue that's totally IG-worthy, too! You can opt to get your beverages to-go, or chill out at one of the al-fresco tables available in front of the stall.

The best part? PICKUP COFFEE will be holding their official launch soon—that is, from June 3 to 4—and you can score these can't-be-missed perks. For starters, all drinks will be upsized for free on those days, and if you drop by between 5 to 7 p.m. they'll be handing out free drinks too. You also have the chance to be among 10 lucky winners to win a one-year supply of their drinks if you make a purchase.

What to Order from PICKUP COFFEE

There's no shortage of options here—from classic to playful cups of joe, they've got your back, and prices begin at P50 with nothing over P100! PICKUP uses Mt. Apo and Brazil coffee beans, and crafts up great brews using top-of-the-line espresso machines for consistency.

The Iced Americano (P50) is a solid choice that goes down smooth, or you can go for the Spanish latte-esque Kape Kastila (P75) with leche condensada and milk for added sweetness and body. On the more one-of-a-kind end of the spectrum is the Avo Latte (P85), which has avocado joining milk for a creamy lift.

Not into coffee? PICKUP COFFEE's also got other sips that include the Milosaurus (P70) with the famed chocolate-malt drink and a cream mousse; the Golden Turmeric Latte (P80) with an intoxicating blend of turmeric, black pepper, ginger, and cardamom; and their great-tasting, rightfully earthy take on a classic Matcha Latte (P75). They've also partnered up with other local purveyors—among them Claudia’s Cookies, Hola Empanadas, croissant seller Butterboy, and cake shop Malia Home Bakery—for savory and sweet nibbles you can have alongside your drink!

Too far from Taguig? PICKUP does have plans to open more physical stores soon, so it'll only be a matter of time before you can easily get your fix, too—but in the meantime, you can also order for delivery from their numerous stores across the Metro, via GrabFood and Foodpanda. Also in the works for the brand is an upcoming app that'll also let you redeem exclusive rewards and perks; you can sign up for their waitlist if you'd like to be notified about its launch ASAP.

PICKUP COFFEE is at Uptown Bonifacio, 36th Street, 9th Avenue, Taguig. For more information, check out PICKUP COFFEE's Facebook page.
